MONA is the Museum of Nebraska Art. The Museum is located in a 1911 NeoClassical building and it is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. The collection has over 6,000 works of art by regional, national, and international acclaim. There is always something to see and do at the museum.
The art that is represents the work of the artist and explorers like Geroge Catlin and early Nebraskans Robert Henri and J. Laurie Wallace. They also feature the art of Nebraska and has been the home of the state's official art collections since 1979. They have eleven galleries that visitors can stroll through. The museum enhances the historical significance of the collection.
